Movex, Cox Automotive’s specialist logistics platform, has won a new, five-year contract with Lithia UK to provide vehicle movements for its nationwide branches.
The agreement will see Movex manage over 40,000 movements for the retailer, supporting all brands across the Lithia group as its primary supplier for vehicle movements. This covers van and car transport, including Lithia’s prestige vehicles from brands such as Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren and Aston Martin. Further, the Movex platform will provide accurate reporting on each vehicle movement to help Lithia make informed decisions, save time and increase efficiencies.
By utilising Movex for its vehicle movements, Lithia will also benefit from reduced transport costs. The platform allows users to compare quotes from multiple providers and select the most cost-effective solution. Many of which are assigned automatically without the need for further interaction.
